The following information provides some of the regulatory and administrative items required by international students prior to training in Canada.
Regulations
1) In order to visit and study in Canada, the following official documents are required:
Canada visitors Visa--unless exempt by schedule II of immigration Canada regulations. Student authorization document--obtained from a Canadian embassy, high commission or Canadian consulate declaring the time frame in which the pilot candidate may study in Canada. It may also place restrictions or conditions on the stay.
2) In order to obtain student authorization, the following documents are required:
A valid passport An original letter of acceptance--issued by a recognized Canadian educational institute such as a university or college, or a professional or vocational training institute. Medical clearance--if applicable Evidence of the ability to pay tuition, return transportation, living and study expenses while in Canada. A satisfactory claim that the pilot candidate is a visitor to Canada, and the in tension is to stay in Canada temporarily.
